Theo Walcott would be ideal and has only played 11 times for Arsenal this season of which 3 were league games probably as a sub, the rest Europa or League Cup, but again I cannot see him as a probable signing.
I dont think that it will happen, but that wouldnt be an obstacle as how many posters on here commute the other way every day for work ie Brighton to London
Granted extra pace would be an advantage but then so would a proven Premier League and International striker if the money side waS ok. I do not believe that given the chance anybody on here would turn him down purley on his ability. Well I can as it is NSC.
That was exactly my thinking that the press are saying that the favourites to sign him are Palace and West Brom and I am sure that we could compete with both of them. If as suggested West Ham come i nto the reckoning then it becomes a different story as they will throw money at it.
As far...
H e apparently wants to go out on loan to ensure he stays in the France squad. Obviously we wouldnt pay all of his wages but would Palace pay just the usual 10p in the £ and I am sure that we could better that. I would think given the choice West Ham would be a strong possibility.
Son has just phoned and said that he read that Giroud wants to go out on loan in January and WBA and Palace are favourites to sign him, he would be a good one for us to sign I would think. This will obviously be the first of many suggestions between now and February 1st but it is a break...
