Try telling that to victims.
National security and national welfare are the same thing. Although 'national security' is often a front for the tentacles of more state control.
So you advocate the punishing of potentially innocent people- people who've actually done no wrong. Where does that...
Should we 'punish' people who are 'suspected' of things ?
We arrest people if they are suspected of law breaking. If there is no actual evidence we don't. You want to change that ?
Our laws are already pushing the boundaries.
Lots of newspapers covered it. Nothing on BBC. However, London has large marches all the time. This one, like many, isn't really relevant to headline topics on this subject. They have devoted time to changes in terror legislation which is more relevant.
They wouldn't ban them though. It is their right to march.
It is wrong for folk to assume that anyone who attends this march is racist, a thug and all sorts of other nasty things.
The impasse occurs when someone like the resident fairy starts the thread, an NSC member who glorifies violence...
Forgive me, there is clearly a miss-understanding here.
You talking of 'standing up to terrorism'. That's a strange one. Marches are a visual representation of concern designed to create impact. A march against a potential conflict for example. Perhaps a call for greater rights for women...
Will those who confirmed they were going and didn't turn up receive a letter from Tommy Robinson ?
I think it's unfair on the supporters of third and fourth division teams.
20,000-70,000 ?
I can only assume that some sources are quoting confirmed and attended and others just those confirmed.
I reckon some just confirmed to get the LADS LOYALTY POINTS.
Apparently, the Fairy in residence is not a parody- so someone who knows him tells me. That said, it's hard to work out who is who excepting the slight difference in handle.
Sometimes the parody is more sane.
So because it's in Twitter and because, although there is no evidence to support they are from Newcastle or the photo was taken by them, I should take whoever's word for it ?
Chris was at the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation dinner last night in Wallsend. I suspect he is on his way back (not sure where he lives). I highly doubt he is off to the march.
