Well, I did say 'IF' - something a previous poster seemed unable to understand! You may well be right - there was talk at he time of Hughton wanting a third keeper. I would have thought that Maenpaa would count as one of our top class keepers, though.

Paying our record fee for a keeper, and having to get in a replacement him in weeks (as I said, IF that is the case) is a black mark.
