We used the ticket exhange once last season and were able to spend the vouchers on the next matchday. Seems odd that you were told the opposite. My problem with it was that we spent about half an hour walking
around the shop trying to find stuff we wanted/gifts. Not a critisicm of the shop but...
Yep we're good and I do appreciate you face the same Premier League issue. In past seasons it
would have been easy to get tickets for 3 or 4 games a season. Hopefully the club do something about the ticket exchange to help
solve the problem.
I don't want my money back. I don't think they should pay cash. A voucher for beer and pies would be a fair
compromise. As to getting the best seats, well they were available to all until the last year or so and people
are only complaining now because we are in the Premier League.
And yet I'm not saying anything different to what I have been in past seasons when we weren't in the Premier League..Strangely no-one was interested in my seat until we were winning and playing the big clubs. Insulting season ticket holders who have supported the club in good times and bad is...
I would agree with you if the club were giving the resale seats away to local charities or schools but they are reselling at full matchday price. Bearing this in mind it doesn't seem unreasonable for season ticket holders to receive something
more than a club shop voucher.
The tone of communication on this subject from the club suggests they feel wronged in some way and therefore suspicious of their season ticket holder base. I wonder if this is what is preventing them offering a proper ticket exchange.
The club gets to resell the seat at full price. It seems only fair that the season ticket holder gets some reward. Maybe a voucher for food/drink at the ground rather than in the club shop and longer to spend it ?
But he can keep his points if he doesn't use the exchange. Why would anybody resell their ticket under these terms ? (I won't be doing so if this is true).
