You may have a point there. Watching the 'news' now, showing relatives grieving; maybe better left private? Was it on this thread, a day or two ago, that someone asked when did we become a nation so addicted to public grief, minutes silences, etc? I think it was generally agreed it was traced...
Nice idea - but wouldn't it become an even hotter hot-bed of murderous Islam?
More to the point - how long could we keep them there? as long as they remain alive would be good - but that will cost us taxpayers £millions - Millions to keep them fed and watered (and guarded), £millions of...
Very much agree with most of that, particularly the part about other groups that have integrated successfully. It's those that haven't integrated - and don't appear to want to integrate - that are the trouble, and they have ruthlessly taken advantage of the failed policy of multi-culturalism...
I wish they wouldn't keep reporting it as 22 people killed - call it like it is: 21 people killed, plus 1 cvnt who wasn't worth a place in the human race.
RIP to the 21 though - sympathies to all their friends and families.
Can't disagree with you there - it's shocking. Still amazed old Henry saw off that many (however many it actually was!) - if you'd asked me to guess yesterday I'd have gone for hundreds rather than thousands. Still, live and learn, eh?
Was a bit staggered by that figure of 72,000 so googled for more information and found:
"It is impossible to tell for sure, and historians have no definitive number. It is estimated that anywhere from 57,000 to 72,000 people were executed during Henry’s 37 years’ reign, but this is likely to...
(1) He despises Islam because - yes, no doubt about that;
(2) he's decided to believe it to be a hate-filled religion - no argument about that either.
So his answer is he wishes to get rid of the places where he is convinced there's hate-filled preaching - getting rid of all mosques would get...
Fair point, and I know you were responding to a bit of a rant - but he didn't actually claim it was taking place in every mosque either (although he certainly seems to think it's quite common) - so my point stands too.
This may surprise - and even shock you - but not every person who disagrees with you reads the Daily Mail. And you really need to stop reading things into posts that aren't there when it suits you. Try finding the word 'all' in my post - no, you can't, but you're quite prepared to say that that...
While you're at it, can you provide first-hand, peer-tested proof that any Mosque isn't staging 'hateful rallies'? Thanks.
No, of course you can't. Not taking sides here - just pointing out that this is a silly and pointless line of argument, whichever way it is used, or whichever side tries...
Yes, and the key words there are 'used to' - we stopped, we grew up, matured and recognised it was wrong, and became a better society (although certainly not perfect) for it.
And therein lies the problem. They may condemn the terrorists methods, but at the end of the day they share their ultimate aims - UK law being replaced by Sharia Law (and all that that entails - apostasy becoming a crime......and homosexuality, of course. And certainly not allowing teenage girls...
:facepalm:
That beggars belief! Other posts indicate that fellow NSCers know exactly what I mean. There is one very fine post explaining it exactly. Sadly, you now appear to have rejected it out of hand.
