The Great Western is a decent ale house. They usually do grub but it is a Bank Holiday so might not on Friday. Away friendly too. Almost all the pubs in the town are not so welcoming unfortunately so it might be worth drinking in Birmingham beforehand - just an idea. Molineux is a 10-minute walk...
