That article say that we sent 17.8 billion (340m a week)to the EU and received 4.9 billion (90m a week) back as a rebate. We do not decide on the amount we receive as a rebate, so we actually lose control of £340m a week to the EU. Whichever way you look at it, it's a pretty shit deal.

Because it's not a lie. It doesn't say let's use all this money to fund the NHS. It says let's fund it, I'm sure that a large portion of that would more than help to properly fund the NHS and still leave some for other matters.
