Our 3 lead strikers didn't have an injury free season last year. If we don't get another striker (and I very much hope we do) we'll be odds on to finish in the top 6. We're currently 2-1 on to finish top 6, but you're saying it will be IMPOSSIBLE.
Partly agree (I wouldn't go as far as 'wasted', but I agree that's it's weird spending that much on a defender if we're not also planning to spend a decent amount on a striker).
Disagree. That's just silly.
I thought it was clear that Chris did want him here a year ago? Maybe Chris doesn't want to spend £7m on him, but that doesn't mean he doesn't think he'd fit in here.
Yep, fees went mad a few years ago and now they've gone full bat shit crazy. I can't say I've watched Vydra that much, maybe he's worth it. I'll trust the club to do the best they can.
Well I wasn't calling him a flop, I was just questioning a £7m price tag on someone who under performed last...
Chris has watched Manu in training and in first team games, and Chris has formed an opinion on whether he's good enough.
The point would have been to bring him over and hope he's good enough to get into the team, and take his chance when he gets it. Just like Goldson. He was fourth choice and...
If he has an attitude problem, that's not Hughton's fault. Of course it would be good if Hughton (or others in the management team) can help him get past the attitude problem, but the solution shouldn't be to play him just to make him happy. Each league game is hugely important, we can't take...
Indeed, but it's laughable that you think you know more about Manu than Hughton, and that our players just need more time. As if Chris doesn't know enough about Kaz
I'm sure you're a very busy man, but would you consider working alongside Hughton, to help him see where he's going wrong? Obviously I appreciate that you must be in high demand, but it would mean so much to so many of us, you'd be a hero to thousands.
