I am not going to get into a debate about it but please tell me what comments are acceptable for this thread?
If anyone who comments on this thread is going to be told not to comment it would probably be best if this thread is locked.
The starting point height must be key to the finishing height, and on a fighter jet I doubt it would be a perfect circle. More like a spiral that is tighter at the beginning than at the end, so height would naturally be lost. There will probably be some calculation that will predict whether it...
It’s no consolation to the victims and it is sad enough as it is, but it is lucky that whole families and children were not caught up in this. If this accident could have got any worse that would have topped it.
When I saw the photo of them together it said it all really. They looked like they were a couple for life, and my thoughts are with her. So young and so much to take on board.
Definately not for the printed paper in public view. Without studying the actual video I even suspect that the photo with the fireball exiting the gun may have been photoshopped in, or at the very least enhanced. If it has been faked to sensationalise the event, the papers should be sued, even...
We can all form an opinion, but I don't want to get into a debate about what we do or don't know. The guidlines are pretty clear though.

It's not about where it was initiated, it is about where the most critical and extreme point of the maneuver was.

Yep, Barber was visibly moved when he spoke about visiting Matthew's family.
Dedicating the Hull game to all the victims is spot on, but I hope the players will play for them all season.
I have no idea how often pilots have to abort an extreme display maneuvers but I would imagine it happens all the time for multiple reasons without incident. Each time a death defying stunt is performed it is a high risk, and just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t lessen the probability of...
Flying over roads is one thing, but surely you have to pick a safe area to pull off the most extreme part of a maneuver when you are pushing the aircraft to its limits? If the loop was completed with a 100m to spare that would still be too close surely?
