I was defending the players, not the manager. I don't see your point. Yes, it is likely that they won't be played together and assuming no striker comes in (though I'm sure one will) that would be Hughton's fault for not playing to the strength of his squad.

With Barnsley (based on what I can deduce from the statistics available, having not watched Barnsley all that season) he did his job. Scored 15 in a side that got relegated, that appears a pretty decent return yet they went...
Based on him scoring 15 goals the previous season in the championship. That's one more in fact than Ulloa got in the league that season (though admittedly in more games).

Harsh. O'Grady is proven at this level, Baldock needs a big man to play off to get the best from him and Colunga was always utilised in a more attacking-midfielder role. Give them the service and then I'll judge them.
