Maybe not such a long way to go if we have learnt by our mistakes. We have only just got a complete setup, which cannot be understated, so we have only just started our journey.
If we sell Dunk for £5m it would mean that the club would have seen a return on players of over £20m in the last 18 months. Selling them is all part of the footballing economy and because they have short careers there is no point in getting overly attached to them. Just appreciate them while...
Yep all clubs go through cycles of rebuilding and we are in ours. I personally liked Oscar and he achieved a lot for what he had to work with. He was plagued with injuries and the 2nd Derby game exposed how weak we were in depth. The first leg was a good game but the second was a step too far.
Yep the twelfth man thing off the pitch can also make a difference and we haven’t really recovered from the Gus fiasco. Bournemouth are lucky to have a manager they trust unconditionally.
I am sure that players take into consideration the clubs potential for the season which is also factor in their decisions. We were a shambles at the time, a thin squad, a new manager, and had just sold Ulloa, whilst Boro had stability. I would have chosen Boro myself with all things considered.
