Point of order. Earlier in this thread BensGrandad mentioned Premier League scouts he knows told him Dunk would only fetch £1M. Do you think Bloom , Barber and Bozza have lost the plot ?

The £5M price tag is just the starting price that the club will listen to serious offers , it acts as a deterrent to those smaller clubs who think they can nick a bargain. I personally think he'll go for £6M plus various add ons.

I think McLaren already had LD identified as one of his targets on the basis that Derby were going to be promoted and needed to strengthen.

The valuation being quoted seems a bit more realistic than the laughable bid that came from Fulham. I hope at least we secure a decent sell on clause and other add-ons if Dunky is destined to leave for a Premier League club.
