This may be the case, but it is speculative. My point was that B&HA have done well in:
-- securing Dunk on a long-term contract
-- not inserting a transfer fee trigger clause
-- holding out on a policy, revealed repeatedly by Bozza, that we'll only sell Dunk to the PL for £5m+

Looks like Burnley are going to sell Trippier to Spurs for £3.5m, which puts a £5m bid for Dunk into perspective. Trust we manage to also negotiate a sell-on clause.

I suspect you're right, but if:
-- a PL club comes in with a decent price, and he wants to go, he's gone
-- a Championship club buys him, then I might have to join the gloomy gang
I agree that he has these faults, but they can be coached out of him. He also has a number of attributes: reads the game well; excellent tackler; excellent header of the ball at both ends of the pitch; scores goals; impressive distribution for a CB.
It's all the more likely that they'll have the opposite effect than the CommonsFlamer suggests. Firstly, Championship football players have a lot more money, so are less concerned at north/south property price discrepancies. And secondly, the value of southern houses have increased far more than...
