But at least they would have to be elected. My whole beef about the House of Lords is that they're unelected and I've always resented some lord, who probably hasn't got a bloody clue about the real world, representing the people of this country when voting on new legislation.

Maybe not, but it would change the way legislation is approved or not and would therefore affect the lives of all of us.

Scrap the House of Lords and replace it with an elected second chamber.
