I think you have to play through the entire value of the deposit plus the bonus but I may be mistaken.

But wouldn't it be better value to treat the Free Bet afterwards as your lay? It requires more capital but would work (and in a cheaper market of your choice).
The worst case scenario is that both initial bets lose - in which case you're left with £50 cash and £50 free bet...
Hold up - so they'll refund both the losing qualifying bet (in a free bet) AND the in-play bet (in cold hard cashish)? So you don't need to lay off the original at all - unless I'm missing a trick. This seems ridiculous even by their standards.
This is precisely why I've stopped doing 0.5+/Draw. Once it's gone, it's gone and in the long term I reckon there will be more value out effectively buying a £50 with a coupl eof quid each time. Plus when the 0-0 does hit then Bet365 get their share too.
