This offer from the club was made after he was approached by Hull City to sign. So it seems sensible to me he took the offer on the table, rather than waiting for a trial with us, with no guarantees.

But he had three contract offers Oxford Utd, Wolves and Hull City. After he had received these offers we then offered him a 2 week TRIAL.
He could not risk losing the contract offer through messing...
