I agree with you, and I'm not foolish enough to think that sudden increases in immigration can cause problems for our infrastructure. I do worry about the attitudes towards migrants, though, and some in UKIP merely exacerbate this.
According to a Nat West report in 2012, it was believed there were 4.6 million British people living and working abroad. According to the Daily Mail the number of foreign workers in Britain totals 2.4 million.

Very uncomfortable with that advert. It only encourages xenophobic attitudes. Whatever people feel about immigration controls, that poster is just not right.
