Hanover sounds like fun these days, it used to be busy about 10 years back but some of the roads half way up Southover St were ok for a space.

I sometimes use meters when I work in Lewes but I'm always checking the time and worrying about getting a ticket.

Not sure it's for me to comment, I very rarely go to Brighton now, we have a very good train and bus service from Newhaven to Brighton.

Someone told me they couldn't finish a job in a road in Central Brighton as all the permits for that road had been allocated that day.
Some roads are too narrow to pull up and drop off tools outside a job and then park elsewhere.

I come from Brighton originally and I am a tradesman but I will no longer work there, I turn down lots of jobs because of the parking restrictions.
