Possible bad news for a B777 [Malaysian MH370]

a horribly contrived way to work in the illuminati angle. fails to recognise that as employees they would surrender all their rights to any patent (as is normal practice. certainly no evidence to the contrary is provided), and ignores the patent is for a manufaturing process improvement...

if we analyse these options... 1 and 2 are the same thing since they didnt go anywhere meaningful. 2 doesnt seem right. why not ditch it into a mountain, building? cant be to avoid hurting innocents can it. wouldnt rule out though. 3 is unrealistic, sooner or later the pilot would realise...

the funny thing about that site's Diego Garcia claim (apart from the matter of fact ditch in the sea), is the first diagram shows an angle that would take you to the Maldives, considerably to the north. never mind such details though.

did you check? no dice, its close but 116.5844 is due south of perth. the area they are searching is to the west, about 40 S 96 E (at a reckoning off google maps)

from other diagrams i've seen i'm fairly certain the bbc one has put the satellite in the wrong place, it should be due south of the tip of India. eitherway, its geo-stationary for purposes of air/sea communication, where as most others up there are either moving or for other comms.

they knew the French plane's course. the problem it seems here is that, even though they knew there was a change of direction on the Sunday 9th, the authorities focused everything on the original flight path (understandably). they've effectivly started the search again this week end to the...

Possible bad news for a B777 [Malaysian MH370]

i read it in this scenario the radio communications are broken (by the fire or action to put out) and pilots are knocked out by the fire toxins soon after. the pilot has first reacted to the situation by changing course, then dealt with the fire. the plane then continues on new course with the...

im liking the Hillan1 theory, with fire and detour. this explains why after signing off the transponder goes silent *after* the sharp turn. if you're evading detection, turn off the transponder then turn. but i also like Bozza's Bond theory. i wasnt aware of the second turn - is this...

odd that no landings are possible in Pakistan... bit odd. too much on where it could land, assumes you want to land nicely.

thats quite an entertaining plot they have there. a cargo gets "loaded" from the "Seychelles" onto a flight that then "flys" it back to Diago Garcia. shame they werent creative enough to not use the ship "MV Maersk Alabama" which featured in the Captain Philips hostage taking.

or a car, van or lorry. as they have done in the past, remember? why use a passenger plane not a cargo plane, or a private charter? planes are for prestige more than anything.

this is where conspiracy goes off the rails, there's plenty of good fertile material here without makeing things up. i read that it not uncommon in that part of the world to "tanker" fuel, carry far more than is necessary so you dont have to fill up at an airport that fuels expensive (after...

Possible bad news for a B777 [Malaysian MH370]

the transponder is a beacon to tell everyone who you are. radar is passive, a radio ping is sent out, bounces of something and the return echo is picked up. you can measure that something is there, but not what it is (nor its height with usful accuracy). radar is also realitvly shortish...

your points dont prove anything, they aren't factually correct in the context, given there no attempt evade or more time to search in those cases. except the last one, and the key point missing here is those sites rely on the transponder info.

Possible bad news for a B777 [Malaysian MH370]

it does seem one fudge after another. the interestin bit for me is that they searched the Malacca Straight early on, which is a bit like searching west of Ireland for a plane headed from London - Norway, this makes no sence whatsoever. so we should deduce that they had information that it had...

Possible bad news for a B777 [Malaysian MH370]

interesting... couple of weeks ago there was a program where they showed how difficult it is to find some in the water. the US coastguard drop someone in the water then, with coordinates known, another team went looking to fish him out. even knowing where to look, it took them some time to...

or they don't have a scooby. as i understand it, radar doesn't cover that far out, they rely on the transponder. if there was a sudden failure or other reason for loss of height one has to assume the captain may not be capable to communicate or the comms is down as a result of the failure. so...
