You have no idea how bad this player is and 1) we shouldn't spend a single pound on a transfer fee / discount on Buckley's fee. 2) waste any wages on him. I hope they are still laughing at Charming at the amex, if he did indeed propose this..

The more I think about this, the more I reckon it's just a journalist ( perhaps on a hint from Prince Charming ) getting creative to construct a deal to get Buckley with the minimum cash outlay. Hopefully Charming was laughed off the phone line :lolol:

:lolol: The Roar is great and Burke talked a good game on it. But if he thinks that signing the 34 year old and useless Wilbraham is acceptable then he needs to look at whether he himself is Premier League Ready.

If this is all Burke can come up with then he really has to go. Utterly awful transfer window so far, that could well get a lot worse if we sell Buckley and sign this clown.

To be honest I think this is just a story coming out of Palace as they are unwilling to pay a fair fee for Buckley. There is no evidence that the deal is acceptable to us, and my guess if Buckley goes anywhere it will be to Sunderland. If they offer us Murray instead though, that's a game changer.

I think perhaps it is best that Palace pay the full fee for Buckley and not try a swap with your worst players. A swap for Murray would work though, I think.
