    I think that the perceived wisdom is that our top earners are on somewhere between £10k - £15k a week. We'll never know for sure but as stated above, the overall wage bill gives a good indication.

    :laugh: Seriously? £27k a week? I was told by a very ITK staff member on the last transfer deadline day that he had been offered 22k a week to move to Forest. You think they were luring him with a 5k a week pay cut?

    Yes, you would. It is unlikely to happen as you would negotiate with your current employers but in law, you are entitled as you signed a fixed length contract. You think agents don't try and exploit this?

    See my earlier post. If we sell him and he hasn't requested it, we have in essence broken his contract. He is therefore, technically, entitled to have his contract paid up. It is no difference to his being sacked. He signed a contract that we are bound to honour if requested. It is no different...

    Very much this. If he doesn't request a transfer and we sell him then, so I was told by the father of a pro, he is entitled to have his contract paid up as technically we are breaking his contract. If he breaks the contract then no compensation is due. I guess that if the player wants to go but...
