I sense the conspiracy theorist is strong in this one. The reason Hydrogen fuel cells arnt on the mass market is because they are expensive and difficult to produce and because they have short life spans, meaning they're currently no improvement over what we currently use.
A significant input of funds now to get us ahead of the technology curve could be extremely valuable in years to come when people look to UK companies to produce green-energy components and research.
I don't see many people concluding that anything is certain though? The only real certainty I have seen claimed is that the human race is having an impact on planet we live on. And that's a pretty hard thing to dispute.
