I can remember pretty much the whole North Stand in electric blue Lois cords (with a couple of oddballs in yellow ones). Don't know what sort of sight it looked from the pitch or other stands but it was striking to be in there.

I was in the same class at school as one of the authors of that book (LB). Very sound lad, haven't seen him for years.

Ta, yes, describes me perfectly though I'm sure PPF meant it as an insult

:lolol: Dunno mate. I was a fairly clueless kid who liked football, nice trainers, beer and my mates. Is that what one of those is?

In the case of the Scunthorpe lot, if memory serves me right (and it was over 20 years ago) they were a mixture of casuals and what we'd now call chavs. It was funny though. At the time I went home and away with the same group, a few of us well dressed and a few of us very much not. People soon...

I remember Scunthorpe coming to us in 91 ish in the cup when they were Div 4 and we were Div 2 (I think). They had a go behind the North Stand at anyone who moved. People in colours and kids were particularly fair game for them. They picked on my mate who was 17 yeas old, 5ft 5 and 8 stone. Our...

Asked because it wasn't documented. The rules don't say you can't question why a process hasn't been carried out. However it is now documented in the right place by hitony. People can now make up their own minds on the relative fairness.

There should be consistency. Either not discussed at all or everything disclosed in that one area. For me this was one bloke ruining a thread that, like it or not, is pertinent to the history of football fans. Clarifying why p&s was banned in the area that's specifically set aside for such...

I'd go on to add we have the perfect weather for it. I'm not kidding, the British climate is ideal for wanting to make you dress in noticeable clothes and run around a bit in them or sit inside playing and listening to music or reading and writing. Or all of the above.

Your original reply just said 'Respect x'. You added two paragraphs and they changed your post to an attempt to get back on topic. Unfortunately it's a topic you clearly know nothing about.

*sigh* Once again you edited the ENTIRE post to make it look like you're not trolling when you are. So I've joined Buzzer in reporting you.

There was a bit of a downturn in violence reported in the early 90s compared to the 80s as I recall often attributed to the rise of Acid House and bands like Primal Scream and The Happy Mondays, or more specifically what people took when they went to see them. Your post has reminded me of what a...

No he's not. He's the bloke on the board with the most prejudices yet he'll insist he's got the least. Lois cords / farahs / Fred Perry for me back in the day but lost the look totally when I got in to dance music and replaced it more with combats / Stussy. These days it's comfortable old man...
