People are saying on the product reviews that theoretically that is correct but doesnt work in practice. Hence I am asking for any personal experiences.

On a review of a Samsung Galaxy Tablet some body said the down side is that Samsung guarantees are worthless in the EU as they are not an EU company. Anybody had experience of this either good or bad with any Samsung product not just a tablet.
