I didn't suggest for a second they were the only option. And I agree, their prices do tend to be on the more expensive side. I've certainly never used them and never would.
But, what business is it of anyone else how many members they have etc? Really?
They provide a service. Some people use...
I understand that, I just can't understand WHY anyone would get riled up about it. Also, I don't think anyone can blaim The Argus for ringing up the heads of the few supporters clubs we have for a comment about Albion fan related things.
Of course not everyone will agree with what they say. But...
I may be missing something here but what is wrong with the supporters club only having a few hundred members?
If their main purpose is to run coaches for people who need help getting to games etc, surely the only important thing is that those supporters who need help have access to the club...
I just cannot understand why people are at all bothered about Liz, or indeed anyone else, being quoted in a few Argus articles about the Albion. Is the fact someone you don't agree with is given a couple of lines in a local paper to air their views on the Albion really THAT big a deal to some...
True. But does it really HURT anyone for her to give a couple of comments to The Argus for a small story on the club getting ready for the play offs or something similar? Really? I can't see it matters all that much.
The higher the profile of the club, the more news stories etc will start to...
I think you have to have a bit of sympathy with the likes of Liz Costa over being quoted in The Argus etc. Overworked journalists will be asked to get some quotes for a story about the Albion and the first place they will try are the supporters clubs because it will be easy to look on their...
Quite possibly. She certainly deserves praise for all she does.
I was just disagreeing with the person who said she puts more time in than anyone, "including Gus."
As I said, I have nothing against the woman. She clearly helps people get to games who otherwise would struggle to. All power to her.
My point was she does not put in more hours a week on the Albion than anyone else.
How on EARH did it take them so long to arrange travel to the last game at Selhurst?
It is hardly rocket science:
Find out date of game / venue.
Phone coach company.
Book coach.
Email members.
Take bookings.
Turn up.
Job done.
Not saying she does not deserve a degree of praise for...
I was stood quite near the front and saw it all. Think he deseved to see red for it but cannot say I was overly offended. Certainly not enough to scream for a policeman like a restaurant goer clicking their fingers for a waiter...
If he shouted anything homophobic at the fans while doing it...
