If stupid people were debarred from posting (and I'm not sure how you'd set the qualifying criteria), NSC would arguably be a much duller site. A little more tolerance from some contributors might be helpful. Not everyone has the intellectual capacity of an archbishop.
I've no doubt that the club have been working very hard to sign a loan striker but sadly it doesn't seem to have come off. Gus might have been better saying that he would do everything possible to get a loan striker in rather than pledging one but we are where we are and now need to move forward...
So assuming that we don't sign a loan striker today, as now looks likely, what happens (god forbid) if Ulloa gets injured at the weekend, or shortly thereafter? What options would we then have? Buckley as a makeshift centre forward with his dodgy hamstrings? Throw Toby in at the deep end? I'm...
Where have I ever said that I wanted a deal for a loan striker to fall through? Do tell me and get your facts right before spouting off. Like you, I only want the best for the club but I don't go around making promises I can't keep

So you're happy with the current situation? I wasn't moaning -simply drawing attention to the apparent failure to deliver on a promise. Still a little time to go though so I live in hope.

I would be very happy if Simeon Jackson proves to be our loan signing. It's difficult to see how the club could have pulled off a better signing, especially at this late stage of the season.
