Why not? The chief execs at Aston Villa, and countless championship clubs are publicly backing the introduction of Safe Standing areas. Check out the Safe Standing campaign site, you might be surprised.
So what you want is basically the best possible seats, right in the middle at the back of the away section, and for everybody else to sit quietly and silently so your son gets a completely unobstructed view of the game? Can you really not see that you're being selfish.

It would be amazing if the Albion could lead the way on this issue and pilot a safe standing area. We have been really progressive with the Amex - on the bars opening after the game, lovely pies, sustainable transport solutions etc - and now safe standing would continue that...
