Shame about Dark Star but seems inevitable. The recipes will be changed soon if they haven't already, still like Hophead but everything else seems a bit poor that I've had recently

Last time it had a good mixture, certainly a few crafty IPAs and APAs that many on here would enjoy. But they just have to be good ones, so none of that BR*WD*g shite

It is a perfectly decent ale, especially at £1 a bottle. The only other ale they do that cheap is Spitfire which is barely drinkable

I popped in there on the way home, good selection. They've Harveys and lot of classic ales and quite a few Meantime and craft beers, pretty reasonably priced (The Red Yakima was £2.20 i think). The only disappointment was I couldn't find any Dark Star

I went to the Wandering Goose in Worthing last night ( i think it was recommended on this thread previously. Very nice pub, with some good beers and very reasonable at £4 a pint for a Brewdog IPA.

The Snowdrop have a great choice of ale and ciders, the Burning Sky is probably the worst pint i've had in there

I think they're both great. It was just a joke that Craft Beer like 'Indie' music survives as much on the 'new, small, independent' factor as much as it does on quality on occasions.

I think we are months away from people deciding that Brewdog has got too big and they never liked them anyway. They will the new Arctic Monkeys

Is it really less arsey than a beer maker deciding what is and isn't a craft beer?

Didn't you say Camra were being arsey about their definition about what was real beer?

I thought Porter was stronger because you had to put more sugar in it. I think that's what the Harveys' brewer said on the tour.
