Ah, now there's odd, I use Hennings in Pulborough regularly, and not seen it there. It is a bit smaller than Goring though, they tend to major on Bearvertown beers, I shall ask them next time I'm there.
It really is very fruity, but not overbearing, but a great grapefruit flavour and super refreshing, I've not seen it for sale locally, I get it online from beer gonzo.
I know it's a bit military medium, but I've been enjoying a couple
Of sainsburys American pale ales this evening and a few Punk IPAs and one or two Boston lagers. Together with a Large Ones venison shank and some home made ice cream. Yum.
I believe CAMRA and its bores also refuse to allow a pub which uses a CO2 blanket in its cellar, and even bright beers are regarded as the devils spawn, and in serving them you jepordise your entry into the GBG.
Haha, I mean a case, a box of 24 bottles! Saw it in an offie, they only had one case, now that have no cases
Re: Purple poo, that might be a sign you've overdone it a bit!
It all depends on what I can find here, there are many really good AU and USA beers, but findng them can be a challenge, that said, Waitrose sells Sierra Nevada more often than not, as for AU ones, have to look in the little independent offies, as I did yesterday and found a box of LCPA.
Craft/boutique/micro, as far as I understand, all much the saem. My recent(ish) visit to Australia was topped off by the superb beers we found. Swan Valley has some good breweries, The Feral Brewery in particular I liked, Little Creatures was a delight, and the Indain Ocean Brewing Company makes...
I shall look out for it. Sadly, AU beer here is blooming hard to find, and expensive, I guess the shipping costs crucify it. That said, it's worth it when I find it.
