As one of the Quality Managers at Asahi I can give a little more info.
The partridge Green site was always time limited as the premises are leased. The production of Hophead was moved to Chiswick a few years ago. This enables greater production but is 100% the same recipe and retains it's...
CAMRA aren't exactly known for making sure the ale is poured at the correct temp. Witnessed many a time when they've chucked a wet towel over the barrel in a hot tent.
Not for me. Plus I end up arguing with someone who thinks they know everything because they bought a Woolworth home brew kit...
OK so basically Brew Dog are announcing they no longer can or will be a craft brewer as they want to expand heavily beyond these shores. To do so they have signed up with Asahi Japan, nothing to do with Asahi UK, to help distribute their tat in Japan.
We will continue to actively deride their...
I'll tell after my meeting this afternoon. Doubt it will touch my lips anytime soon.
Plus HT I do a little more than test beer, like design dispense systems, review and set all of our specifications.
Plus the thin edge of the wedge for YOUR favourite independent small-scale home-spun...

How do I know? I'm the beer quality manager for them.
Meantime is interesting, Asahi UK is a really small operation compared to most in the game, it may have a huge backing but does enjoy its smallness both in its Asahi operation and ownership of Meantime. Not many normal drinkers would appreciate that they are no longer a "small" independent, why...
I find it's the perception though certain beers can be considered in the main craft but dig a little and surprise they're owned by a huge brewer. They do though hold on to their "craftiness" cheeky so and so's
That's American rubbish (I'll come back to that later) doesn't mentioned any differing methods to production (notice I failed to use craft) so what is it?
HT I notice on most threads you spout on about craft beer from here there blah blah...
Please enlighten me what exactly do you determine this super new age beverage to be.
