Me too, Very upsetting their for a little while. I don't think we will beat Hawthorn next week although i would love to have another crack at the purple menace from over your neck of the woods.
Got myself a 6 pack of these the other day. Recommended at Dan Murphy's and I thought i would take a punt.
Glad I did they were blinking marvelous. Had the second one with a slice of lemon and some ice which topped it off nicely.
Not a huge fan of IPA but Little Creatures Rogers is a personal...
I can drink three pints of my home brew (oooooo big man) with no hint of a headache. Went to the pub and had a couple of peroni's headache in the morning. Real beer without all the added shit is the way to go.
I have just finished making an all grain copy of a Sierra Nevada IPA.
Just gone in the fermenter.
Still got a week or to to wait for the last one to finish in the bottles.
We did grain in two 30l batches one after the other. The first sat in the fermenter while the second on boiled. Then we got the little pots and added the hops. Put half the mixture in an old wort barrel thing left half in the big pot and cooled them both in the bath before mixing them back...
There is a real boom over here in boutique beer (I am assuming this is what is meant by craft beer) and i for one am bloody loving it. The only problem is when i am forced to drink mass produced crap it tastes like shit and gives me a head ache.
I am currently waiting on a bright ale which has been hand crafted by myself and a mate. Our last brew was a little disappointing but I have very high hopes for this one. It is also our first brew that has been made completely from scratch rather than from partially premixed Wort.
I noticed...
