Just had one at BBD. Burger was quite good, but the chips were pure batter. All wrong. And I won't mention the plate.

Burger was OK in Craft, looking forward to trying the BBD burgers.

The staff last night were all Londoners, 'invited' down for the night by Craft/Cask. What's with the yellow painted wood downstairs too?

Craft - the previous staff have all been sacked. They were the soul of the place, now apparently employed by BrewDog. Time to re-assess my feelings for their sexist marketing. Research time ... It's BBD for me now as my local.

It's not the best Citra on offer but it's OK. The Hastings brewery Citra in Trafalgar Wines is lovely.

Name a brewery 'trendy' or not, that doesn't do at least one less than average beer. It's always about the taste. One thing that is troubling me though, as a regular at the Hanover Beer Festival, is the influx of over complicated beers that sound great but don't work at all. After 8 complicated...

Ooo Kings Old Ale is one of my faves, I forget it's October time. I'll look out for it.

Try some Hammerpots - usually available in most Co-ops. Also Arundel do a nice bitter and pale ale. Elsewhere, anything from Hepworth brewery.
