Good grief, is this still going on...
* shrugs and wanders off... although a little concerned that the '83 Cup Final might have been a hoax as it was on TV, and therefore my Dad is possibly a liar... *
Thanks, that seems quite a reasonable distance away to me. I note that that isn't the entire engine, it must have taken quite a battering as it passed through the superstructure.
So the plane didn't disappear in the building then, thanks for clarifying that.
When you say "foot of the tower", what do you mean? Within a metre? ten metres? What? Surely how far away any wreckage that actually managed to pass through either building landed from them is entirely...
colinz - videos of second plane impact.
It is quite clear from the footage taken from several angles that the plane doesn't disappear, it explodes - due to hitting all that structural stuff do you think?
Bits of it do make it all the way through I see, momentum perhaps - I seem to remember...
So, what have we learned after all this?
A little bit about intransigent positions.
A bit about logging into websites with multiple accounts.
Not a lot about valid ways of testing materials.
Some cod science.
What Nibble is having for tea.
I use tabbed browsing to log onto sites with multiple users simultaneosly every day in my line of work - very easy to appear to be typing stuff with more than one account at the same time.

I'm sorry, is that an argument? Does You Tube and Wikipedia trump physics too?
I take it that Al Queda sticking up their hands and saying "We done it Guv" doesn't count, 'cos they're terrorists and therefore not trustworthy?
I'll give you a straight answer to that one if you don't mind me jumping in, I honestly believe that the U.S. government didn't blow up the World Trade Centre buildings on the basis of that I witnessed the events live on TV, and because Al Queda happily admit to organising it.
Interesting, but doesn't really replicate the state of the two towers when they collapsed - it assumes that there was no damage to the super structure either above or below the level of the impact - whereas witnesses (including Mr DeMartini) reported that there was internal structural damage...
Frank A DeMartini was not involved in the design of the World Trade Centre, but he was involved in its maintenance and had offices there. He died aiding in the evacuation of the building.
I'm glad you said that, because the inference in your post was that I think that the continuing violence in Afghanistan is a good thing. It clearly is not, whether it was perpertrated during the Russian occupation, during the Taliban regime, or under the current democracy. I'd hate to think of...
Google - Plane Crash Building - its all faked of course, but there are plenty of images of planes inserted into the sides of buildings, most of them considerably smaller than a 767.
Can the conspiracy theorists please remember that one of our own died in the attack on the World Trade Centre...
