Yes, that was suggested earlier ('brain balloon' pic), but I really don't think they'd be up there around midnight. Maybe there is a balloonist here who can say if they are allowed to?
Sadly not - they will appear (if they do at all) as 'shooting stars' travelling at a very rapid rate across the sky, in the region of The Plough (not the pub!).

Yes...all pensioners (with all their marbles, I must add), all still working but do not even own a camera! They buy disposable ones when they go on holiday.
