If it's quality local reporting you're after, one could do worse than reading this chap. Remember him...?

This statement actually speaks volumes more than most.
'Baffled' and 'bemused' - that to me says here's someone who still doesn't understand his target audience. As for not mentioning NSC by name - well obviously that's the case, but then not everyone came up the Adur on yesterday's Slow Boat.
Oh, OK.
One of the cornerstones of good writing is clarity. The writer must present clarity.
Not insulting the intelligence of your audience wouldn't go amiss either.
The tone of that article is that he has taken 250 or so words to grizzle about a tiny minority of Albion fans before finally qualifying it with 'the majority are level-headed'.
It has to be seen for what it is - a whine about whining.
Some - not all - of the complaints are valid.
It's the language used that grates. 'Shambles' seems to be the operative word, and a marvellous use of hyperbole in this instance.
Really? Haven't read the article, but if that's the case, that is in flat contradiction with the club. They are actively pursuing opinion and criticism so that they can get things right.
Can someone post the article up? Ta.
