Yes, I recall El-Abd having a large cut previously and the blade was the weapon of choice. Potentially fatal if it hit an artery. I'm not surprised they stretchered him off.- Barrel of Fun

Worth mentioning that he said in the Argus he would be happy to end his career at Brighton. Was that his 250th appearance? He has certainly proved a hell of a lot of people wrong. Get well soon.- Barrel of Fun
