Evening/Morning all, back in the UK after a Maarvelous visit Down Under and have suddenly woken up with body clock totally gone to realise the game isn't quite over so its time for a glass of Shiraz and TMS -anyone got a decent live stream?
Will never forget Day 1 of the Boxing Day Test at the...
Come on Chris, glass half full mate! We are 113 behind with Cook set and Bell (due a biggie), Collingwood (ditto) and Prior to come.
Shirley we must be looking at a 100 plus runs lead?
BTW have now left Oz and spending a couple of days in Hong Kong before returning to frozzed UK, hope...
Hello All, thought I would bounce this as I'm here in Sydney, went out for a drive into the Southern Highlands yesterday to the Cricket Hall of Fame and it was 41.5 degrees Centigrade!
Thankfully much cooler down here on the coast. Convicts are still all over the place with their team...
Conditions getting better here, clouds lifting and blue sky to be seen, hopefully that is the last of the bad weather for the rest of the Test, if so the Aussies haven't done well enough in only getting 2 wickets.
Not at the game today but is cold and damp here in Melbourne so not surprised Siddle is getting some movement. He is a pig ugly aggressive twat BUT the only Aussie bowler to show any ticker at all yesterday. Johnson was so bad it was embarassing to watch and the rest weren't much better...
Hello again from Melbourne and a wonderful day at the MCG - the most one-sided day of cricket I have ever witnessed! :clap2:
Have taken some Maarvelous photos of the Ponsford Stand full AM and virtually empty PM :bigwave:
Really looking forward to buying all available Convict Newspapers in...
That nearly gave me a ruddy heart attack - its 10.30 Local time (confirmed via MCG website) thank you!!!
Oh by the way Happy Christmas to all on North Stand Chat.
Currently sitting in a Melbourne Hotel with a glass of Aussie Shiraz 21.45 local time and with a ticket for MCG tomorrow &...
Hello from Sunny Melbourne!
Everyone out here is playing down Andersons side strain and Punters broken pinkie.
Also the convicts are in a tizz about the pitch (Drop-in, as are all the MCG ones due to AFL use of the stadium the rest of the year) and cant decide whether to drop a...
Just a quick bounce of this thread as no-one has mentioned about the England No.7 being the latest to make a Century Down Under - well done our very own Matt Prior
As the MCG is the venue for the Test I'm going to I was a bit worried to see how it was a rain-affected result - it had...
Tremlett is the man for me (bloody hell I have just said that about an ex-Pants and current Slurrey player)
On the other hand all three back-ups are all going to play in the next Tour Match so game on!
I am personally hoping for a draw at Perth so I can watch us retain the Ashes at the MCG -...
England haven't needed Broads batting so by the same logic we don't need Bresnans either.
The only one of the three I saw in County Cricket was Tremlett at Guildford when his bowling was very hostile, he seems to have got over his habit of breaking down as well - possibly Surrey's only...
