Don’t ruin the dream this early for the snow lovers. We are like Brighton fans were last season dreaming of the improbable qualification into Europe. We all know it’s unlikely to happen but sometimes you get to live the dream. Never say never.

Just come through Hastings it’s quite heavy there. Much lighter along the coast in Eastbourne. Can see the line being about that in terms of how Far East they will travel.

Seems to be the theme this winter recycling. It’s hard here to get the exact conditions we need for snow. But the cold spell has been fairly decent not often you get days below freezing here. Tomorrow looks like potential for some snow as a last hurrah for this specific spell but I like you say...

I would have said not that great short term. Looks like we are heading for easterly winds next week but ironically there is not that much cold air to be pulled in from there. Normally you would expect snow showers and maybe some Thames streamers to bring snow but at the moment looks more likely...

At moment the front that is heading out in the channel is all rain. It may well turn to sleet or snow as temps drop but unless there is a small shift north most likely be relatively dry but cold night all round

I know you are not a fan of the charts but is some interesting potential for snow all around and some more cold weather over a prolonged period. Be interesting how it plays out.

Seems there are a few marginal opportunities this week and into next. It’s a shame late Feb early March is the to late down here unless really cold air is pulled in. Days getting longer and sun getting more powerful when it’s actually out. I think we will see some but don’t have any expectation...

He was a prat though. It is genuinely snowing there as I went past. A lot worse in eastbourne though.

That will be snow. Back edge will be sleety potentially but I reckon 3-5cm widely as an estimate worst times prob between 830-11

Will certainly start as snow. Not sure if the back edge will turn more to rain or sleet though.
