I think Harty is great and he can say that in the pub but on air with 25000 people listening it is not ok. Imagine Jeremey Paxman interviewing Gordon Brown and Brown says something stupid. Do you think Paxman would say " Mr Brown you are a window licker ". Not really.

Harty is a passionate bloke. He went over the top on this one it would appear. I am a big Harty fan but I have noticed a tendency if not a definate trend in that he does slag off NSC a lot on his show and deride the site and its contributors a lot which seems a bit hypocritical.
