A pleasant surprise when entering the stadium I was politely asked “How are you at climbing stairs sir?”
I am 78 years of age, who does have to sometimes stop for breather climbing the west stand upper but have no obvious disabilities. I informed the steward I do struggle. Another steward was...
So am I reading this wrong and the harsh punishment stated below, that a STH passing a ticket on to another STH will be given, also applies to 1901 members also??
Any supporter found to be passing on away tickets will be subject to a ten-home match ban, during that time the excluded supporter...
Nearing pensionable age, I wish
I have been a pensioner for fifteen years now and in the early years of my retirement I could afford to pay annually, now I have to pay monthly.
The frightening thing is with what’s happening currently I may not be able to continue paying monthly. But these...
There are many season tickets holders like myself who had ST’s at The Goldstone. Priestfield Stadium, Withdean and now the Amex, against many 1901 members who never had a ticket prior to the Amex. But in your eyes these financially JCL’s are outstandingly loyal, your on a wind up aren’t you ?
They are loyal fans no doubt, but no more so than many STH,s
But I still think it’s wrong they are allowed to give away tickets for away games to anyone they like(some may have never been to an Albion game before) when a STH can’t
Double standards never looks good
And as for the ability to pay...
I do accept 1901 members do pay a lot of money and in my view are fully entitled to give their tickets to anyone they wish for HOME games, as they do in a way own that seat. But i do think it’s going too far when they are allowed to give it away for away games,I am sure this is happening at...
I would rather a loyal fan with not enough points get the ticket, than a wealthy 1901 member who can pass a ticket to someone who may have never been to an Albion game before
I’m curious to know why is it acceptable for a 1901 member to not have to conform to these rules and can pass them on to anyone, or have I read that wrong?
No the Albion won the league by two points but Brentford would have been promoted if the Albion had lost
There were rumours of a possible bung as it looked like some Watford players couldn’t be bothered.
I was 14 when I went to this game. The only way I managed to watch was by climbing on the top the shooting gallery that was made out of railway sleepers, at the side of the South stand and below the old wooden West stand. This wooden stand strangely burnt down that night and the first stage of...
57/58 Being our first ever promotion with Adrian Thorne a local lad scoring 5 goals in our last game to clinch the title and promotion. This was when only the top team got promoted
64/65 When all five forwards scored double figures
78/79 Will never forget that final day win at Newcastle
Agreed, I was just pointing out to our friend Dan, that in most cases, the fans are powerless to make any change to what the guys in charge want to do
Perhaps when he gob’s off on another clubs fans site it might pay to know the history of his own club
You do realise that the Palace did not own their own ground for10 years, when Goldberg purchased the club and when Jordon took over?
I bet you were embarrased to find out that Jordon lied to the fans when in 2006 he said he had reunited the ground with the club for £12mill, when he hadn't and...
Thanks for the history lesson
As you like facts, perhaps you could give me the dates and fixtures any of those played in three consecutive matches for their countries
:
:bigwave: actually attended the game against Argentina when Alf stopped the players exchanging shirts at the end of the game
He called the Argentina team animals
