"I heard Brighton boss Chris Hughton say on Football Focus this weekend how he was realistic enough to accept that he is in a different league to quite a number of teams in the Premier League.
Well, the reality is he is in the same league whether he likes it or not and he had better tell his...
Five of the seven till positions at one of the food outlets in the WSU today were marked "Cash Only". Had I been the Operations Manager for the UK Division of American Express in a stadium sponsored by my employers, I would have been less than impressed.
It is beyond me why the club do not...
After 32 years of working in the public sector I am thinking of setting up my own business.
Does anyone have any sound advice about setting up a fledgling company, where I can find a good accountant and web designer please?
Any advice is much appreciated.

Having watched the wonderful look back on "Match of The Day at 50" made me think of some of the best of the Albion on this great British institution. I have three thoughts.
25th March 1972 Home to Aston Villa, won 2-1 Andy Blockhead (great name for a striker) et al playing for Villa, but most...
Whilst never readily keen to talk about Premiership issues, an interesting thought is to compile a list of players who you feel would qualify as a "genius" and who have made at least one appearance in the top flight. It does not necessarily need to make up a team, but all the same it's an...
"I'm always sad to hear about any football club being in a mess, so you can imagine how I feel when it concerns one that has employed me. Somewhere along the line, the club's demise must be on one or two people's conscience and my only hope is that out of all the trouble and trauma they have...
In 45 years of watching the Albion, I have never felt as deflated as I have
done so this week.
Monday's events at the Amex will live long in the memory, and for all the
wrong reasons.
Defeat at the hands of Palace was tough enough to take, but this was then
compounded by the disgraceful...
I was surprised at the lack of announcements on the failure of the floodlights yesterday. It took 15 minutes for something to be said, which started out with "Ummm, ..." There appears to be nothing on the website either. Perhaps some sort of explanation might be good from their point of view, if...
I have long thought that the abuse which Vicente has attracted on NSC has been completely unjustified. I have watched the Albion for 44 years now, and I honestly think he is one of the most cultured, naturally clever players I have seen. His balance and centre of gravity is remarkable and he...
.... the most improved player in the past
1. Three months
2. Year
For me,
1. Matt Sparrow - another excellent performance yesterday, linked up really well with JFC
2. Liam Bridcutt - rarely disappoints. Gus has made him a real footballer who many had questions about when he signed.
I have been really impressed with Grant Hall in his two appearances. Calm, timing is perfect, and very composed. He will be a ready replacement for Lewis Dunk if he he does go which now seems very likely. Also, with the emergence of Jake, I think there is much less of a need to go spending.

My first match was on 12.10.1968. 42 years of watching the Albion, and I can confidently say that last night was the best 0-0 draw I have ever seen. Well done lads. I thought Dunk and Murray were fabulous when they came off the bench.
Best wishes to Adam El Abd for a quick recovery.
