Just a head's up for anyone who has an Amex card- was checking my offers this morning and there is one for the online club shop- spend £70 or more and get £10 back. Not a bad discount
OK so he wasn't on for that long but he seemed to me to be playing deeper than usual, even dropping between the two centre halves on occasion to receive the ball. With his passing ability and the greater competition for the number 10 role, could this be where we see him play this season? I think...
Really missing him, aren't we?
With him on the pitch the team shifted between three and four at the back on the fly which gave us a definite edge IMO. As much as I like Bernardo, Big Dan can't come back soon enough for me.
From watching the game on Sky yesterday it looked to me like we are playing a very similar system to last season but with a very important difference: the midfield and forwards spent the whole game pressing Man U high up the pitch. Was great to see and won us plenty of possession in some...
Couldn't get an away ticket for tomorrow's game so settled for a "Three Lions hospitality package" with a seat in block 203. I remember at the time someone on here mentioned there would be a fair few Albion doing the same.
How many others on here will be sitting on their hands when Schelotto...
Is it just me who has noticed this annoying phenomenon of people using the plural 'women' to mean the singular 'woman'? Seems to crop up on social media all the time and have noticed it on here a few times. Example sentence from Facebook today: "Happy birthday to my Mum, she has gone through so...
Murray/Dunk/Duffy/Izquierdo will obviously get most of the praise tonight but thought Gaetan Bong was excellent. Looked comfortable on the ball, couple of good runs forward and coped with Antonio really well. Great to have two quality left backs competing for a first team slot
Could this be a potential away game formation for us this season? Seems to be back in fashion and could solve our isolated front man problem without having to go to a 4-4-2.
At home we could even potentially play Knockaert/March/Izquierdo in the wing back role against 'weaker' teams...
Bought the old man tickets to the British GP this Sunday for his birthday. Any tips from those who have been before? We have general access tickets, so advice on where to set ourselves up in order to watch the action would be great.
Just how good was he last night? Winning tackles all over the pitch and constantly driving forward with the ball. Looks back to his best and showed what we have missed in recent games-a midfielder that takes the game by the scruff of the neck (and gives it a shake)
Saw this earlier and thought it was pretty funny (and accurate).
The Farage one is a particular favourite...

I'm off to Thailand in June and am turning to the wisdom of NSC for recommendations of things to do and see. We are planning to spend time in Ko Samui and Bangkok amongst other places. Any tips? (Apart from 'check out the ladyboys) ???
