1.) We score early on. Crowd behind the team. We score another. Crowd believes. From this point, anything could happen.
2.) We concede an inevitable early goal. Crowd goes flat. Gets to half time. They score another and the stadium starts to rapidly empty.
I'd say the ground isn't even half full for Netherlands v Senegal, and they are two excellent footballing nations. It's a bit of a joke really. If the WC was here you'd have to sell a kidney to attend most games.
Yes! I usually have a few before the game as it's cheaper, then one at the match. Takes the edge off especially before a big game! I don't get hammered or anything though, just pleasantly buzzed. But can also live without drink, and don't drink at all in the week.
No. Because ultimately football often boils down to who wants it more on the day, and we had ALL of the incentive to want it more than they did. That's why we (and many other clubs) sort of switch off a bit when we play smaller clubs, and step it up versus the big boys.
All of it. But De Zerbi running on to the pitch for Trossard's first goal. You're getting sacked in the morning towards Mr Potter - twice (if I remember correctly). How utterly dejected Cucurella looked, being booed, and being in Solly's pocket. But generally, it was just the perfect day...
There have been away fans in every match against a 'big' club. I had two Manure fans next to me when we walloped them. Sat silently in their seats every time we scored. The couple of Chelski fans in our stand were removed this time. I don't know why people bother, because I can think of...
Not once. Doors open all day (when in, obviously) and windows open all night. Not been out of shorts/t-shirts yet. Going to be a shock when it actually gets cold lol
Yes, took around a year, and cost roughly £2,800 for just the top set. Would be more for the bottom set too, I'm assuming. It's a REAL faff at first, as obviously anything you eat they need to come out for. Drinking, I kept them in for everything, including beer, wine, tea and coffee. After...
I'll be booing and joining in with whatever chants people wish to throw in there. I think the atmosphere is going to be hostile......and I can't bloody wait!!!
