I agree to a certain extent, but Caceido was only 1 player, he on his own couldn't have influenced results that much. Not trying to detract though from the massive influence he did have once he became a regular starter.
Potter only got the Chelsea gig on the back of a brilliant end to the 21-22 season and a great start to the 22-23 season. Before we beat Arsenal and Spurs away in consecutive games we couldn't see where the next goal let alone win was coming from and that was nearly 3 seasons into his reign. If...
No he didn't, he kept very quiet throughout the whole 'thing' (if there was one). Nobody knows for sure if he spoke to us, Chelsea or Man United, it was all just press speculation.
The various owners did that. Redknapp merely spent the money they authorised him to do so whilst winning the FA cup. Any manager who is offered the opportunity to spend money will take it.
I would well imagine Tyler and every commentator were under strict instructions to mention it. If they didn't no doubt they and whoever they work for would be accused of 'ignoring' it and by ignoring it they would also be accused of 'racism' such is the sensitivity surrounding the subject.
Fair point. I'd say they had the evidence but once his GF said the Pinto sweatshirt wasn't his all of the forensic links they had fell apart. They also said they were convinced about the girls time of death and that at the trial, the Judge told the jury they couldn't be certain RB was in the...
Yes I get that, however as his clients solicitor that's how it works, they will pursue every avenue they can in order to secure their release/ acquittal regardless of how they feel about their clients guilt / innocence.
Haems didn't get him off, it was the incompetency of the Sussex Police that resulted in his acquittal and the fact his partner at the time withdrew her claim that the Pinto sweatshirts was owned by Bishop, thus removing a huge part of the case against him.
Do we actually know whether we approached KM?? Seems to be a lot of assumptions that he was our number one target but nothing concrete to back this up. It's possible that he was never of interest to us.
Maybe they did in terms of a job interview / due diligence etc and Rooney came off better. I guess the fact that Rooney is a bigger name helps and whether that's right or wrong that is how football works.
I say good luck to Rooney with the Plymouth job. He never has to work again, he could easily get a job on Sky but instead has chosen to give management another go. Shows his love and passion for the game that he's prepared to relocate hundreds of miles from the NW to take the job. He really...
I guess because usually Chelsea look abroad for a manager and usually want one 'with a proven track record of success' a la Ancelotti, Mourinho, Tuchel etc, the exception being Lampard but he had the 'Chelsea legend' status.' Appointing one with no PL experience wouldn't be the usual Chelsea...
To be fair after Roma away we did then beat Forest at home and Roma at home, so it didn't signal a total collapse, our form post Spurs at home was pretty poor and I don't think can be totally attributed to getting well beaten in Rome.
