Travelled everywhere with brighton back in the day(before other things in life took over and settling back down here) and I'd say that really isn't true, not imo anyway. Lots of very friendly folk very willing to engage up and down the country but especially in the smaller lower league towns -...
That's so poor - especially stark just how much the goals have dried up. We've gone from one extreme to the other! Lots of teams have had big injury problems too, not just us. I'm just not convinced that RDZ is quite all that. In the cold light of day he's a one-trick pony so far: been found out...
Sheffield United?? I'll give you Forest since they got promoted (but it wasn't long ago they were getting 18/19k in the championship and its hardly uncommon for a team getting promoted to suddenly have a buoyant atmosphere - see also Luton this season), but Sheffield utd has always been bang...
At some point the bubble will burst (if it hasn't already) - only natural for clubs our size having our moment in the sun. But hopefully it won't burst to the point of seeing us relegated anytime soon. We definitely need a big summer though or I can see us struggling next year whoever's in charge.
Out of interest,
Yep.
But a good reminder that while we have an issue with racism/nationalism, we're by far the worst and actually one of the most inclusive multicultural countries in Europe on the whole
But other countries with a much larger far right voting population than us (most European countries for a start) manage to go all out and (largely) positively celebrate their national day - for example the Dutch?
I couldn't care less either way for the record, but I'm not sure that really is...
No-one wanted var ffs. Not in this form. Look at the imagine on this thread. Its likely not even offside considering the line is drawn from the United player's foot and his arm is infront of his foot.
I really cannot believe any football fan is arguing for the use of VAR by now.
You can clearly see there that the United player's arm is out infront of the front of his boot. Its too marginal either way but an even bigger kick in the teeth that it's more than likely not even offside
This for me. There really isn't a conspiracy against the little clubs. It's totally ruined the game though. I think the decision was probably correct as you say, but the whole thing is just so wrong for football - it's sucked the life out of top level football
Totally agree re the boat scene. Laughably bad! Fortunately that was the only poor cinematography in the whole series. Absolutely stunning otherwise, and so brilliantly written. We finished last night, but tempted to start it again and watch through a second time. Such a brilliant watch start to...
