[Football] When did replica shirts become really popular?

My first was the 1984-85 Adidas Phoenix Brewery shirt. The very same one that my son now wears to the Amex occasionally. Still in surprisingly good nick.

    [Music] Moby - Play

Agree with comments above. Episode 2 of the Heavyweight podcast (“Gregor”) was about the source of the samples of a lot of the tracks on Play. I remember it being very interesting, and Moby coming out of it quite badly.

[Albion] How do you feel when weve lost?

I remember aged 16 after the Notts County playoff final loss being so devastated that I made a conscious decision to care less about it. Definitely served me well in the dark years that followed. Now I view it all sort of like a story that runs parallel to real life. Ups and downs, a changing...

    Bit naughty that.

[Albion] Will Moises Caicedo be a Brighton player when the transfer window SLAMS shut?

To me this has been nailed on since I opened my official 2023 calendar and saw Mr January was Moises Caicedo. There is no finer predicter of squad departures/serious injuries.

[Football] Leandro Trossard **Sold To Arsenal 20/01/2023**

All a journey isn't it? I've enjoyed the part where Mr Trossard has joined us on the ride very much, and will remember him/it fondly.

    [Politics] Brexit

It's true, I passed him taking my son to school earlier and we exchanged good mornings. Our views don't align but he always seems genial enough.

[Football] Neil Warnock tells it like it is

It's probably dangerous that he and Sean Dyche are allowed to manage in the same division. I don't know the science but I imagine the localised concentrations of utter bellendery could open up some kind of vortex or black hole when their teams meet.

[Albion] Remember the last time we played Millwall on a Sunday?

Enjoyed seeing Paul Stephenson celebrate his goal again. Not very Millwall.

Agreed. Space Argument is particularly magnificent.

    Official Running Thread

Second that, wouldn’t use owt else when I head off road. I have a pair of terraclaws for when it’s firm underfoot and x-talons for when it gets more agricultural, both really fun to run in.

[Football] Should Maty Ryan boycott the Asia Cup?

I met Graham Arnold back in September and offered him my considered view that he shouldn't bother taking Maty to the Asian Cup. He disagreed. Was quite receptive to my views on Elbows Jedinak though.

[Football] Gravity Whore getting some stick before the game ?

Standard reporting is such a crock of horse plops. Their match preview yesterday was perpetuating the nonsense about the 2013 todding up of the Palace dressing room. I nearly got irritated.

[Albion] Things to do in Liverpool on a Saturday morning

I remember on the way to the Johnny Crumplin cup game the first thing we saw entering the city was a bus shelter on fire. So that's my suggestion. Set light to a bus shelter.
