They're the second worst team we have had up here after Southampton, Joselu missed a penalty and an absolute ****ing sitter and we had other big chances too. I left SJP thinking we'd be relegated as we couldn't put teams away and hadn't won at home since October at that point.
We were shite aye...
Brighton are safe. Southampton and Stoke are absolutely dreadful and Huddersfield will pick up 1 more point max. There won't be an interesting finish to the season after all.
Got no feeling towards London FC in the slightest, really do not give a shit.
Find it hard to be passionate about a team that play their home games 6 hours away and most of the players are pricks.
Always loved Woodison, same with Anfield for that matter.
Beats going to the likes of Reading, Derby, Leicester, Boro etc etc etc where the grounds are the same flat pack shite but with different coloured seats.
When I take the car I park on one of the streets off Pitt Street which is literally a 10 min walk from the ground. Not the nicest of areas but I have never had a problem parking there. I am taking the car to the City game tomorrow so no doubt gonna arrive back to my car being in bricks after...
We were excellent yesterday but both times we have played West Ham they've been awful so that will come into it.
Our last three games prior to yesterday could have seen us pick up 3-6 points had it not been for individual errors and poor finishing so yesterday wasn't a total surprise...
Not sure I believe that he isn't happy and wants to leave.
On his day he is quality and when the situation is right he is quality, for example when he came on against West Brom the game changed. However when we are on the back foot he can be a liability.
I've seen a few times on here "Newcastle and Norwich fans didn't think he was up to it in the Premier League". Now I can't speak for Norwich fans but Newcastle fans were angry when we was sacked. We were mid table when he was sacked, having managed to beat Villa 6-0, Sunderland 5-1 and Arsenal...
Palace never really looked like scoring other than a shot across goal from Loftus-Cheek late on. They were hard to break down and I didn't think we would do it as we were very slow and sloppy. Thankfully Merino won it for us. Cabaye has always been a little shithouse.
Palace have West Ham next...
Excellent by Brighton tonight. Absolutely solid at the back, could still be going on now and West Ham wouldn't have scored.
Think we will both stay up with ease.
Always found Everton to be loud and when they're winning but silent and even all sat down when not winning. Liverpool are very similar. To be fair to Everton though I think Sunday early games always tend to have a poor atmosphere.
Think you'll be most impressed by Man United.
We really don't think that at all. Maybe there are some deluded mongs amongst our support but every club has them. Long term we want to be competing for trophies, but surely long term competing for mid table in the PL would be poor ambition for very club? This season avoiding the drop would be...
Watched Brighton against Man City and up until the goal you could have easily nicked a goal yourselves, had a good chance that went just wide Im sure. I think if you go all out against Liverpool then they'll have a field day against the majority of sides in the league.
Very happy with a point...
Fair play to you, big 3 points. We had a good start but now after today we will struggle I feel with Liverpool and Southampton our next two games. Both 4pm Sunday games - Sky are piss takers.
Would be more than happy with a draw next week. 10 points after 6 games would be a great return.
We are getting better every week, could and should have been 3-0 up at half time and then denied a blatant penalty second half. Stoke aren't a bad side at all.
