    Drinking and hang overs

I'm really lucky with hangovers in that I don't really get them. The worst I get is a feeling of tiredness and a headache in the morning. That goes with some tablets, 2-3 cups of coffee and a decent breakfast. Bread helps the next day, specifically toast+sausages or eggs. After breakfast I'm...

    Reading Roll Call

Three Mile Cross which is just over the Motorway. You can then walk over the bridge and towards the ground. Advantage of this is you're quite far from the main traffic and people leaving town, so getting on motorway will be really easy. Or Whitley, in Reading. Aim for somewhere near...

    Reading Roll Call

Great move! Fantastic pub which welcomes all away fans and the bus service they do is excellent, straight after the game it's back off into town again with no waiting around. Best £3.50 you'll spend that day!

Reading still not a sell out?

I think you may be right. I noticed around the earlier part of last season the club started to cover seats in the front seating areas unless there were loads of away fans. Before, if the whole block would be open and fans could just sit and go anywhere. Now they are forced into the upper...

    Reading FC's most famous supporter....

We also have Chris Tarrant who is a season ticket holder and Ricky Gervais. Maybe they will all flock to another Championship side if our performances continue the way they have been going! Mind you, it's only 3 games in...

Reading ticket prices - More expensive than advertised?

As is inferred here... Ticketing is £20 for STH If you're not you're charged slightly more at £23. If you are a season ticket holder, and the ticket says £23 I wouldn't worry, it's just the value shown on there but you wouldn't have been charged that amount.

    Reading Roll Call

Three Mile Cross - never parked there but know others that do You can also park in Whitley, a housing estate around 20 minute walk to ground. A lot of people park there and theres loads of roads so availability is good. I'd recommend anywhere near to Hartland Road. It's on a hill and you can...

Reading still not a sell out?

This started out as quite amusing at first. A fat guy in a full kit getting lots of attention from away fans. It quickly (after about two games) became annoying and distracting to the point that most fans just wish he'd stop the whole "look at me" act.

Reading still not a sell out?

Sadly I can't argue with this, and I find it as frustrating as an away fan in getting to/from the ground using public transport. The Nags Head pub is an excellent place for a drink/food plus they have a private bus to/from the ground. That is easy and works really well, can get back very...
