[Albion] Davy Propper to Ajax for 21m

Ajax has sold Frenkie de Jong for about €75 mln to Barcelona. It will sell De Ligt in the summer for a similar amount of money, if not more. Additionally, it will sell one or two extra players like Ziyech and Tagliafico for +- €35 mln each. Its recent and ongoing success in the Champions...

[Albion] Jahanbakhsh - best game to date?

Definitely agree with that. Yet, characters like Jahanbakhsh often have difficulties to quickly adjust to a completely new environment and need these games to build up confidence. From this perspective, his performance against Huddersfield will serve as a mentality boost and reference for...

[Albion] The main difference between the 1st & 2nd half against Huddersfield

Brighton's more straightforward play was noticeable before Andone was brought on, so I wouldn't subscribe it to the latter's substitution. The only difference was that Murray couldn't keep up with the increased tempo and often blew offensive situations, while Andone didn't. The winger's were...

[Albion] Jahanbakhsh - best game to date?

I only watched the second half, but noticed that his offensive posture had a great effect on the squad as it seemed to coincide with the team's forward push and more aggressive play. That was by far his greatest influence to yesterday's game imo, in addition to his straightforward play.

Perhaps it's better to skip the first half of any Brighton match in the future.

CH could have build upon the second half performance against Southampton, in stead he decided to go with the first half squad and playing style. Shame.

    [Albion] Alireza Jahanbakhsh joins Feyenoord

His best performance for Brighton thus far. Let's hope he will get more minutes the next match.

Agreed. Great performance. A pity that his team mates (especially Locadia on two instances) did not seek out to him more often, as he clearly wsss the fittest on the pitch and had a lot of space on the left side.

Quite shocked at Locadia's performance. Have seen him play in Holland, and always thought that he would be able to make it at Brighton. Looked horrible today. Lack of pitch awareness, basic techniques, ability to tell where his team mates are, etc. Really awful.

Alireza can play on both sides, as he did at AZ Alkmaar as well. Locadia seems to lack playing rhythm, and looks quite out of shape technically.

    [Albion] Morteza Pouraliganji

Correct. Amir Hashemi is his agent as well. Someone posted this on the Persian football forum four days ago:

    [Albion] Morteza Pouraliganji

Great player! He was Iran's best player at the World Cup imo. A true pain in the ass for Ronaldo, who did not managed to get past him.
