    The Murray/CMS fiasco

As everyone, I'm delighted that we signed Muzza back on a permanent basis, but you have also got to laugh about the nature of how it all happened. We favoured CMS, who is now back at Peterborough on loan and can't get into Luton's side. He cost us £3.75 million, and we let him go for free. We...

    Mr Skalak

Dead ball I agree with, other than that i'm not sure were talking about the same player?

    Mr Skalak

I love Chris, but can someone please tell me what he sees in Skalak??? Yes, he scored a couple of good goals last season . But really all he does is look for the foul, or roll around pretending to be injured after being tackled! I find him really pathetic and the bloke is just plain irritating...

    The Striker Issue!!

Yes I would have taken a gamble on Vydra, he would have fitted in brilliantly into our squad and would have worked with Glenn well. Just because they had a poor season last year, does not make them a bad player. Also I would have taken a gamble on Wells. In regards to Hemed, yes he did score a...

    The Striker Issue!!

Since we moved into the Amex I say, In the old days were were always good at bringing in strikers, Small, Byrne, Gall, Nogan, Zamora, Knight, Murray etc etc

    The Striker Issue!!

For a number of years now, we seem to have a real striker issue - that we can't seem to sign them! Has someone cast a spell over the Amex or something?? Every August & January we go through this - "We couldn't compete" etc etc etc. Only Ulloa, Hemed (Debatable) and Murray have been good...

Did you ever watch the Albion play at the Goldstone

My First Game was West Ham in 1991 at The Goldstone we won 1-0 Johnny Byrne, in the South Stand as was a young lad. Fans on & off the pitch all game. Then it was Millwall at Home in the P/O semi, we won 4-1. Fans on & off the pitch all game. Thought it was like that every week....then we lost...

    Time for Elvis Manu

No not at all - just a comment in the thread by someone stated that Manu is not a competent finisher............but neither is Baldock. In my opinion, Baldock has had far too many chances now. Everytime he comes on as a sub, do people really think "Glad he is on, he will get us a goal" - ?? I...

    Time for Elvis Manu

Guys & Girls - Baldock has scored about 6 or 7 goals in about 50 appearances - its about time we gave it up. yes, he creates a few - but he is a striker??????????

    Time for Elvis Manu

It's about time we gave Elvis another crack. He looks fitter, quicker, stronger than last season and his attitude has improved. I would much prefer him to Baldock on the bench. He will be great to throw on and will give us more than Baldock. I hope to see him warming up the touchline at Newcastle.

    Glen Murray - The fans

No it's not, but it makes me laugh that it seems to be the same people who loved BZ when he came back (who never saw him play, and chanted that annoying droaning BZ song, instead of ""Thats Zamora") and hate Murray because he played for Palace - they really don't know what they are talking...

    Glen Murray - The fans

I was at Derby, and I thought it was pathetic that people were still having a pop at Glen. He played a good game, and is going to be fantastic for us this season - he looked twice the player of Hemed. I thought it was great people walking around with his name on there shirts - but people were...

Who would you want to replace Hyypia?

Basically a sensible appoitment is needed - I would love someone like Sherwood as a long term manager - but realistically Curbishley until the end of the season would be good for us. We need a manager who knows what they are doing! Im tired of these managers trying to ' find out the division and...
